Hi there!

Often these review are written by Oliver, based mostly on Oliver’s experiences. This lens however is a special favorite of Julia’s, and so she will be giving some additional insights from her own expertise with this lens.

We will start with Julia’s notes, then move on to my (Oliver’s) standardized “rubric”. We will also provide sample images from BOTH Julia and Oliver’s sense our styles vary a bit. I figured this would give readers a better scope of what the lens can do in different hands.

Julia’s Notes:

Favorite Feature?

Wide enough for most street views, but also a macro if I see a lovely detail to capture.

Any weird issues or faults?

There’s nothign weird about it! The lens is pretty standard, modern, presenting without any distinct character. One thing I guess is maybe the heavier vignetting straight out of camera(SOOC), butI like it. If it’s a close up shot, more often than not I leave it…
